The ancient masters called this world “Endurance”. They knew their shit. Don’t you ever doubt it, or accuse it of being airy fairy. Oddly, it was Paul Joseph Goebbels who did the most to enshrine it with his immortal quote about lies, about the big lie.

If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.
It’s said he got that from Mein Kampf wherein Hitler had accused Jews of using this tactic. That’s actually believable to me because Goebbels was Hitler’s most faithful friend, but my POINT is: the ancients knew their shit and ONLY truth, fundamental reality, can outpace the oft-repeated lies in this world. Our mentalities are loaded with them. We must struggle with them until we give them up.
We often die of them. Just witnessing it, let alone living it, is almost more than a human body and mind can endure. So I’m pretty sure “Endurance” is already earth’s designation on the great master star map of infinity, wherever that is in the cosmos.
And the Death Cult is still here, ceaselessly flinging lies into the ten directions, because, weirdly, we keep letting them — just as though life on this planet had been from the git about burning the sin off immortal souls.

Is he right? Has it come to this EXTREMELY dangerous pass? That would create a power vacuum, the condition favored by monsters because it’s so easy to fill, and it’s easy because most people freeze up in the face of that evil — obviously — do you think the swine in the White House might’ve created a backup strong enough to vanquish it?
I don’t, but fervently hope I’m wrong.
There is already a backup in place known as COG — Continuity of Government — shadowy and possessed of exclusive bunkers and doomsday provisions. Since divesting ourselves of FRANKLY SENILE presidents, per the 25th Amendment, has gone out of fashion even as a token sentiment, it’s left to a pack of strangers chosen by you-will-eat-zee-bugs types long since.
We should consider Cullen’s point carefully.

to reiterate — do we need armed men surrounding our representatives to keep them from passing such a filthy appropriations bill? — i think that’s what it would take
