What scares me about AI is that it might take centuries for the inanimate we animated to learn to express its sentience in compassionate ways. It couldn’t help but be more akin to the psychopathic than human/humane, even if it already knows how to fool you on this front.

and wondering if we could house ourselves in something like that, go in for a lube a couple times a year and generally function without so much motherfucking physical PAIN every other minute of the day.
