If you never wandered around in his very old blog — mostly disintegrated now — you might have little idea how precious an influence lives in Julian’s skin. His poems almost dustified me, and not after moments of reflection, but as my eyeprints landed on them. Had he chosen that profession, he’d’ve been forever, and the psychopaths and the harpies would never have been so eager to squelch every mention of him in the annals of history.
As it is, unless we are VERY stubborn and VERY thorough, they’ll erase him as soon as ever they can without mobs of us threatening to tear them limb from limb.
So i’m taking this little self-congratulatory gathering of his supporters as a sign of the wish to immortalize Julian’s spirit, to nurture the courage and conviction and LOVE it takes for not just goodness, but life itself to survive and thrive.
There are bits sprinkled throughout this playlist that can help each of us grow equal to such a task. There were a number of people in attendance who I trust not to let any self-congratulation get too near the evil that preys on human vanity.
Several of these people were in the room where Vladimir Putin grabbed me and kissed me passionately in my goofy dream of a couple months back. So that is ALSO a good sign.

Wild temperature swings here the past few days. Yesterday at dawn it was 64º out. Today at dawn it was considerably cooler, even some bits of ice in the morning dew. It’s 3pm now and 75º, but it’s due to start raining in a coupla three or four hours or so, and then dump an inch over five hours, and be all clear for the rest of the week.
