martin armstrong — It strikes me that there is a desperate need for US citizens of any race or age with too strong political leanings, one way or the other, to assimilate back to the basic agreements that formed our constitution before we can expect to run our own government again… before We the People can have a measurable effect on how our country proceeds into the future.
We can’t keep going if we can’t even protect our fellow citizens’ rights while pursuing our own. It only strengthens maniacs like Marty describes. We ALL agreed to things like “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” and our rights are in fact God-given, NOT government given. The Bill of Rights isn’t something optional, or only for the current majority. We MUST at least agree on these in order to return ourselves to a government of, by and for The People. You know we have NOT been acting like The People in too long and it’s suicide not to do something about that.
We complain loudly when immigrants refuse to assimilate here, but we somehow ignore when we, ourselves, have come un-assimilated. Things like “cancel culture” are un-American whether liberals or conservatives are doing it.
Here is just one HUGE example of un-assimilated citizens vociferating to remove our God-given rights. Imagine the exponentially bigger injury and death toll if they’d gotten their way. They didn’t get it that time ONLY because the mandates were actually illegal and going to create too much chaos for the authoritarians to live through.
