NOT just ones Americans don't want. In fact, not even domestics and farm workers are unwanted by Americans. We just expect PAY for doing these jobs. Yeah, yeah, we also don't want to pay to have them done, but the point is: WE need to eat and keep a roof over our heads, and so we need the jobs.
In SOME cases, farms actually WILL go out of business if they have to pay their workers more than a nominal sum. Those could be worked out better than is currently practiced. Work visas that cannot be overstayed without penalty, stuff like that.
Or work permits for kids under whatever age it is legal now, with lowered hours and/or lighter duties.
Or homeless people who want social services.
Bottom line: We have more than enough people wanting trucking jobs and construction jobs and factory jobs. Just because the companies want to pay less, and consumers want to pay less, doesn't mean it's okay to pay less WITHOUT our country to live in.
AND we're NOT paying less.
