Quite a few times in my life I have heard people's thoughts. It mostly happened in the zendo, when everybody was quiet. I could hear others' thoughts when when they were thinking something about me or about someone I loved.
Just in case you don't understand that you CAN clear your mind of thoughts, the constant yammer of your computing mind making shit out of what it has already witnessed, usually not even noticing how random and repetitive and intrusive it is, you might want to entertain this notion in front of you now.
Your ACTUAL mind is being drowned by that blather. It's not even that you don't notice it. You don't believe it.
