I hope it doesn't bring on another decade full of Polish jokes, and I think really it's much more about wanting to duke it out to regain formerly Polish territory in Ukraine. It's just that it seems pretty unlikely that NATO will follow them full-frontally if they do actually go in there and make trouble for the Russians.
