We can only listen, and feel sad and sorry and maybe be caregivers for them when it's Hospice time, whatever we can do. They were duped, and they were terrible, but they were also harmed, some of them MORTALLY harmed, by their own credulity. Yes, it was against all sense, and yes, they were darn mean, but if we loved them once, or we love humankind, we do as Naomi suggests. We punish the perpetrators and we forgive their victims.
