If you've been paying attention here, I recently linked you to Hofstadter expressing remorse for his life's work, and to Sean Webb discussing it and advising that our only real recourse is to learn to take over our own minds instead of just floating down the river of mass hysteria that has kept the vast majority of our best minds in cocktail parties for so long.
That river is responsible for The Bomb. It's responsible for turning masses mentally incompetent nowadays.
