He was a good actor. I remember some big time stylist remarking that he should drop the Pee Wee Herman shtick and go for an acting career in the style of Fred Astaire. I thought that was a brilliant observation and the world would certainly have been better had he gone that route... had Hollywood gone that route. RIP
