I drove my neighbor's new-to-her Mini Cooper from Brookings back to her house for her today, and the damn thing is an automatic. My left leg was quivering for the clutch the whole way, and the speedometer action on that thing is just flat out silly, but other than those parts, it was almost exactly like driving around in my MG Midget as a young thing. Weird how that comes RIGHT back, MUCH better'n tryna learn all these idiotic idiot-proofing measures they are trying to make on later model cars.
