The forecast seems to be leveling out a bit. I mean, I have been trying to brace myself for the whopper that is supposed to hit later today, and looking to see if I could estimate when it would be best to go get some items I don't have to use electricity to consume. The rainfall projected from it is suddenly an inch less and the days intervening the big storms are taking up that lost inch. This is telling me that we're going to get about the same amount of water, but spread over more days.
Still dangerous, but not quite so harsh is my read on this.
