He reminded me here of the overrated Granny Fussbudget and his blather about us getting all the good scientists from Paperclip and Russia taking the dregs, and the Nazis turning into an extra-territorial state. I argued with him about these. But, you know, Oxford and all that.
Well, OBVIOUSLY, and historically, Russia got the real scientists and WE got the Nazis, we WERE the Nazis to begin with, and no matter how many other places the WWII Nazis got to, their real power base was, and had always been, HERE.
Sorry. I just sometimes have to get that off my chest. These "little" historical and fundamental fibs have a way of continuing to rip out throats over the decades.
