Today my face exploded while listening to the president awarding medals to the California Air National Guard heroes who rescued more than 200 people from the Creek Fire. I wouldn't have brought it up before listening to these fire people, but one of the responses to the news of this amazing rescue operation was: "Firefighters — too dangerous, there's fire. CANG — No shooting? Hold my beer. BRB." Not that I don't love firefighters, but our military is radically braver when it comes to saving people's lives, no? Yes.
Trump was also in Sacramento today to gently poke the pinheads.
