I watched PBS video last night. Some extremely well-done British production designed to train us how to live, and then a two-hour documentary obviously produced by cretins to lay out in the dirt simplest terms imaginable how we got from small nomadic bands of hunter gatherers to full spectrum dominance... by no means a Malthusian work, they used it to make GMO food seem radically more wonderful than sliced bread.
Expensive programming designed to train large toddlers how to live together and what to think about humans on planet earth, brought to us by nitwits who feel superior about their names on credits and their paychecks... and agonize over the perfect up to 140 characters on their feeds.
And, do you know that I was given shit about a five paragraph comment the other day? Not the content of it. The length of it. They were short paragraphs. It was a heavy subject. No. I'm supposed to register my condemnation of the bad guy or of the sheriff who arrested him. Alternatively, I can express my approval or post a quip, a cleverism, but I'm very weird if I think about the incident and express those thoughts.
