Or is Damer taking a studied approach to attracting the ears of those of us coming out of the trance? I listened to this whole thing. The interviewer is not inspiring... and generally following the core podcasters like a bunch of others are doing.

Beside really pounding in the idea of his liminality, Damer hits a bunch of other alternative perceptions types' identifying notes. I don't like it. I don't like it. I don't like it. It might be accidental or it really might not be.

Anyway, this is the long version of his TEDx talk I already linked you to, and he's just spun the same old origins of life on earth as from decades ago, adding a dash of cosmic dust and insisting it's not survival-of-the-fittest, but survival-of-the-altruists that kicks this can down the road.

I hope he's believes himself and that he's not... that he's not, finally, really a doper who means us harm.
