Good morning. Welcome to the Sleep Disorder Circus. I am considering giving up trying to cope and not coping anymore. It's all just way too stoopit to be borne. It is perfectly crystal clear to me that there is a drive on all two sides of the aisle to seem still to be fighting while consertedly pushing certain imperatives on the whole world.

They're laughing at all us paranoid conspiracy theorists. Our circuits are fried from the daily grind, looking for the clue that will unlock the secret, riveted to our monitors until we are beyond insensible, dropping, and then getting right back up at it as soon as we emerge back into what we wrongly call "consciousness" from our fizzing frequencies blackouts we wrongly call "sleep".

Anyway, turns out I said all this just in order to give you investment advice.

A 16-year-old male has been charged as an adult with murder in connection with the shooting death of 13-year-old Dante Romannose-Jones of Klamath.

Nathan Feliz of Klamath was arraigned today on murder with a special allegation of personally discharging a firearm and dissuading a witness by force with a special allegation of personally using a firearm.

Romannose-Jones was shot in the head Friday night in Klamath and succumbed to his injuries on Sunday, the same day that Feliz was taken into custody, according to Del Norte County Sheriff Erik Apperson.

Feliz was denied bail by Del Norte County Superior Court Judge Darren McElfresh.

A brief press release from the office of Del Norte County District Attorney Dale Trigg says the DA declined the option to charge Feliz as a juvenile.

PUBLIC'S HELP SOUGHT AFTER 88-YEAR-OLD ROBBED AT BUSINESS

Local law enforcement officers are requesting the public's assistance in gathering information about a robbery that was reported at a business on the 1100 block of U.S. Highway 101 Tuesday afternoon.

Del Norte Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call at 1:35 p.m. in which the caller advised that her mother-in-law had been tied up and robbed at gunpoint according to a press release from the Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies made contact with the 88-year-old owner and operator of the business, who reported that she was in her office when an unknown subject entered, grabbed her, placing his hand over her mouth, and forced her to the ground while demanding money, according to the release. The suspect reportedly struck the victim numerous times on the face and abdomen.

After going through the office, the suspect dragged the victim into another room and tied her hands and feet before drawing a firearm, pointing it at the victim and threatening to kill her if she attempted to escape, the press release says.

The victim was eventually able to free herself from the ties and go outside to get help.

Sheriff’s deputies, along with members of the Crescent City Police Department, the Crescent City Police K-9 Unit and the California Highway Patrol searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 5’7”, possibly in his 20s. He has a slender build and a thin face that is mostly clean shaven with the exception of a “Hitler” moustache, according to the release. The sheriff’s investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call 707-464-4191.
This is turning out to be such an engaging day that I may be forced to pretend to have a hot bath in my not-a-tub.
