Yeah, no, not so much. Luckily for me, shortly after I cracked and bought the set on ultra sale, Billy gave me the pick of his old Calphalon set and I got some darn not ridiculous saucepans and a good stock pot. The frying pans were really only what was useful to me in the ceramic set, having given up trying to wield cast iron safely.
Yes, the safety factor around here was greatly enhanced, but no, ceramic does not forgive the absentminded... which would be me... no matter how many applications of the baking soda trick. So. Well. A ten-inch stainless steel it is.
