But I could swear Neil was just rankling me by calling himself a mystic, and now, he's explaining why he doesn't call himself that. Maybe somebody else smacked him for that conceit and he immediately mended his ways.
Anyway, I was too woozy the first time I listened, sliding in and out of this world, and so am listening over again this morning. I wanted to bother because this fellow, Jasun Horsley, is the very first so-called spiritual person I've come across on the tubes who has clearly expressed actual spiritual awakening right out there for all to encounter on the system of pipes.
I have all kinds of criticism of Neil's side of this, but I'm forever beating him up, and want to think about Jasun just now. Maybe later. Maybe later, Neil, I'll pick your bones for you.

Okay, turns out I don't have to. He said it himself at the end. Jasun's level of realization intimidates him, rattles his ego but good... except, sheesh, wanting to be a hitman? That's just set himself up for decades more sophistry before he cuts down to the bone, before he amounts to more than just a charlatan who wants to be nice about it.
