I console myself that they were probably not caught as flat-footed as one might think. Probably have a much better idea about the culprits than it would seem to the uninitiated. The response should not, in all circumstances, be public, but I think I would make this a very public investigation if I were Putin.
I mean, there were cameras that caught the suspect car/s if not already eyes on the perps... if not the perps already caught or good as caught... and this can be turned around on the psychopaths who paid for it.
