Others are paying the price.
I'm supposed to have compassion for people who just can't muster the courage to deal with their own mental conditioning. People who can't face themselves are already in such pain. It's driven them to drink. It's driven them to bury themselves in survival mode. It's driven them to be so consumed by the cosmos of distractions they cannot glimpse a meaningful moment in all of life. They are masses of utterly alone husks suffering their alienation from meaning in every minute they draw breath.
Yeah, not so much sometimes... like this very moment.
