I don't mean to be negative when somebody's done a great thing, but... I'm sure you will pardon me if I mention that dropping the head guy's salary from $350K to $260K, even if he doesn't have a pension already paying him well, so you can pay your other employees enough to start dreaming of living on, is more like how the salaries should have been shaking out in the first place. No?
So we are looking at a pretty nice successful guy and he must have shown them how they can make this work in the future, because nobody's slated to lose their pay increase after he's gone.
I'm wanting to bring this up because we need to see how it is possible to bring sanity back into our lives. People need to be able to live decent lives. We do not have to be able to be profligate consumers, but we need nice homes, and plenty of clean food and water and air, and time to be with nature and friends and family. Everybody.
Now I am dirt certain we could do, pardon me BB2, many thousand percent better for all of us and everything else out there too, but we can give each other, for right now, a better shake. That would be a good start.
