I am jacked from catching a glimpse of Timmy, my very favorite weirdo hotshot, whupping the Cards tonight and hearing of his latest no-hitter and enjoying the proliferation of Viking helmets in celebration and I come to this klutzy and frankly psychotic laptop to get rotten news dumped on my head.
I mean, not as though one couldn't almost have supposed from the git this sort of thing took place, but I'm stuck here wanting to bring up Dashiell Hammett's Red Harvest again. A town is lousy with corrupt bastards and gangsters ruining everything for everyone and the protagonist blows in to set the fucks against each other, brings them all down in one fell swoop. I want someone to do that to Washington DC.
