I can't see today. Even though the map finally doesn't show any smoke over me, there's another fire much closer and all these doors and windows opened wide to keep from baking have really done a number on my poor old face. Left eye is trying to leave again... so I had to take out the contact lenses... leaving me either stumbling around in a blur or trying to get my head in the right proximity to the screen so my glasses work or switching them over to my other glasses just to get more reliably from here to the bathroom or putting on both in order to read something.
The optometrist insists I only think I'm blind... that others have it much worse.
Poor babies....
Without my contacts I get seasick walking down the street.
