I notice she is just about uniformly grouchy in proximity to world leaders, but smiles and looks animated around the people. Yes, yes, it's an act, but it's good form and if I had to be dressed up like a bejeweled old harridan all the time, I would rely on her stylist pretty heavily.
I roundly approve of her padded saddle too. I've had to stop and start riding so many times in my life, I can tell you for 100% certain that padding saves so much agony. When your muscles aren't quite up to snuff the pounding on the bones, young or old, is brutal... and, when you are her age, it's just good hip-saving sense.
