they play on the desire to be agreeable

People strive for it. We don't like to let ourselves think how much we trade for it. And so many wonders can be worked. If they want to do something they know we wouldn't stand for, they just fix the facts around whatever it is will clear that obstacle. Global warming may very well be one of those fact fixings. I'm sorry. It just so very well may be. We can't not listen to the "deniers" because, excuse me, I carefully studied the methodology for collection of climate data from ancient forests.

IT. WAS. TOTAL. CRAP.

I freaked out! Bad enough, this deuced reliance on statistics, on approximations, but, holy fuck, holy fuck, that methodology was so full of mental elisions I thought I was going to stroke out — and at the risk of the very trees they'd be testing, core sampling not being exactly a benign activity. That was the first solid indication I got that the "deniers" might be right. I've gotten a few others since.

And all I ever hear from the climate change people, beside brain-fizzingly bad methodology, is: It's settled science.

They can stiff us with this action every time. Nobody can look into everything themselves. Not even if they are unemployed, single and never go to sleep. Psychopaths can lie and lie and lie to us without ever having to worry about it even once. You are going to have to default to the official line most of the time. You have no choice....

Well. Except one.

You won't take that one.

So, anyway, being as this is so, you may or may not want to listen to another somebody calling bullshit on Al Gore, but I wanted to. I have never for one moment held Dennis Rodman in any remote semblance of respect. He's an idiot. But, you know what? Why would he lie about Kim Jong Un? I don't think he would. I have stopped to try to hear out the climate "deniers" who aren't too over-the-top offensively politically motivated twats who don't know what they're saying, and many times I catch myself asking why would they lie?

The liars are the ones with a political agenda, a social engineering agenda... and that has to include most of the scientists going along with with it... because they go along with whatever insures their funding doesn't dry up. We've seen that too often to even need rehearsing anymore.

...

And, this is actually related... insofar as we are on the subject of the fabric of lies that has bound this madhouse together. I don't go necessarily with his conclusions, with how he thinks this is going to play out for us here in the United States, tending to have more faith in Catherine Austin Fitts' take, but anyway there are a lot of points made here that bear your consideration.
