People have hassled me over the years about my staunch opposition to capital punishment and my staunch support for the 2nd Amendment. They don't seem to think their support for capital punishment makes them murderers and they do think killing someone who is beating you up is murder... functioning in this world as intelligent adults, some of them even have children. It scares me.
It isn't murder if it is done in defense of self or others.
It is murder when you are killing someone who is not a threat to self or others.

Still, listening to him, he's such a nice guy. I have to wonder... how did he become someone we're all supposed to roll our eyes whenever he's mentioned? Was it just his colorful speech? Or was it something a little more insidious than that?
