All these marvelous snippets of Alan Watts are actually ruined by the surging music and dramatic images. I don't know how ultimately effective this bit would be toward realization for anyone, but I do know there is a lot there to contemplate... was... was when it was just him talking... but the emoting added by the New Agers, the bliss ninnies, just renders this into some consolation for our global paralysis and cowardice... our fixation on our mortality.
I just want you to know that I link this stuff for you not to console you but simply to render for you here whatever I feel contains seeds for productive contemplation. There is precious little out there that is 100% conducive to awakening, unless of course the individuals in the audience are 100% conducive to awakening, and so I just try to keep bringing it up. Those of you who won't listen to a whole lecture, will usually take in the short bits and that's mostly coming adorned with the air sculpture.
Though, there are some people who settle for boosting the sound of his voice only in their snippets, and that actually helps him.
