I would even endure the starry-eyed social darwinist and his snotty wife... happily... not even grudgingly... to be able to attend this conference. I have been doing the math here for the last couple hours and it would end up costing me the better part of a whole month's income to pull it off with the least agony, and probably two-thirds of that if I could pack in some nice aerobic agony. Neither option seems prudent... when merely paying to stream it would be more than I ought to pay to begin with. But I'd get the chance to talk to some people I've been wanting to talk to for ages and the chance to meet people I haven't even known I want to talk to besides.
Fuck.
