it's raining again up here

As I got in bed last night, after hearing a few miscellaneous sprinkles, the sky opened up and pelted down cats and dogs. It stopped right about the time I got up. There were wondrous cloud structures out there this morning. Mostly dark gray, but nuanced in varying shades and punctuated with little stark white wisps that might have been holes in the clouds, but looked more like little guys floating just below the mass of billowy gray.

Gorgeous.

I wasn't expecting it. It's been sunny and warm for a week and I thought, given the general drought, that we were surely done... even as I kept wishing the whole state would get a late burst of catch up systems.
THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHWEST CALIFORNIA.

Looks as though a little of it might've gotten further south, but I don't trust these damn internet radar graphics anymore. They lied to me too many times in recent months.

Anyway, I'm glad I got my ass to the grocery store yesterday because it's supposed to keep raining ["100%"] all week long. As you can see, the dope growers down in Humboldt are stoked, but I want more of it to get down into that big scary burnt umber blot in the middle of the state.
