Someone has finally put forth something to indicate what the basis is for all this screeching about "invasion". If that is correct, it's still darn flimsy, particularly since nobody melts down about all our JSOC teams teeming in too many countries to recount at this point in my caffein levels. And ours go in to destabilize and theirs go in, if they went in, to stabilize. Big difference.
So, technically, this Saker fellow has, or thinks he has, caught Putin in a lie. I'm going to go with a maybe here, one nudging toward probably, but not 100%, since I can't speak or read Russian, and since, whoever the polite men in green were, they were not clamping down on anyone, not fomenting unrest, not scaring the snot out of people and clearly there to protect the peace and the people. So if Putin lied about that, he was doing it on behalf of saving the lives of his people, not throwing them away.

Yes, it is true that Russia could sometime in the future, if they manage to prevent WWIII, turn imperialist, but that's not now, and not Putin, and fuck your enemy of my enemy is my friend bashing.
