Personally, I'd say, "Nice try." I mean, he's ignoring a heck of a lot to get that far and, even though it's plausible we don't know every flavor of language and attempt at writing it from the fifteenth century, if it were really from that recent a human origin, I'm sure much more of this puppy would've been immediately recognizable to numerous scholars. No?
