On top of this, I just found out tonight that my worst nightmare is trying to happen. On top of that, a piece of plaque just fell off my brain and I realized how the water has been diverted to the south part of the state from the north part despite our uniformly unanimous votes against it. I have been screaming about this for years and just tonight the penny finally dropped.
Our "municipal water districts" aren't municipal anymore. Like FedEx is not federal.
Which I should have figured out a looooong time ago, with the outrageous water bills everyone suddenly began to have to pay decades ago, but, no, that, too, was just cause for more of my extremely colorful caterwauling.
