Over the past few years, maybe because of all my doctoral work, I keep hearing of head injuries that made people wake up only able to speak a language they didn't know before the injury, or this changed accent business. It strikes me this really bears some heavy contemplation. It might be cellular memory. It might be reincarnation. It might be the guys in charge of what software goes where misfiled something while the victims were unconscious. Whatever. I think we need to stop and pay attention.
