I do so love Terence and mourn the loss of him every day, but if this talk can't convince you that psychedelics are only good for a clue, I don't know what else I can say. Who on earth, in all history, had more experience than Terence McKenna? Yet for all his love and reverence, and tsunamic effort, he could not lose his mind without the psychedelics. I still can't tell if he even had the right idea about that part, about mind and Mind, or raw computation and pure knowing, or the tool and the true human....
