I have been gaping at the moon at sunset for a few days now, thinking how amazingly huger the evening star is lately, wondering if it was always this big and I have not been paying attention in too long, or if my contact lenses have improved my vision more than I thought, but just noting that, slaughter and mayhem and pollution notwithstanding, it's damn pretty out there, sky dangling over the Pacific as though it were going to jump....
