my mother raised me right

She, of course, doesn't think so. She can't figure out how all that history I got to see in the making right there in our living room every night could have produced this. Actually, I think all those sardonic signs in Warner Brothers cartoons had a great deal to do with it as well, because, while they indeed had to teach me the alphabet once I got to school, no one ever taught me to read. I could read since maybe even before I could hold up a book, but certainly long before I started school. So between cartoons, magazines and tv, I was pretty well up on everything in the world around me by the time the 60s burst upon the world.

The reaction of the youth to the machine didn't seem the least bit uppity to me. It seemed exactly right. I never once had any notion that loudly fighting the killing and oppression and the killing oppression was in any wise in error. Certainly I came to have my reservations about other aspects of that revolution, but the pro-people and pro-planet stuff was right on it, and still is.

So it's no wonder they've spared no perfidy and no expense to infantilize us to a worthless mindfucked goo, but nobody else is in charge of fixing that but you. Each of us, upon reaching physical adulthood, takes charge of our own mental adulthood. That they've done everything to make us forget that doesn't change it. That you may have let it slide and just begun relying on your wrinkles and gray hair to do the job doesn't change reality.

Well, and, so, uhm, while we're on the subject of my whole life, this has not been a newsworthy statement since I was born.

I mean, RT should've put that under the Department of Duh-You-Moron... that is, of course, if they won't put it under the department of Fix-It-You-Moron.
