A WIND ADVISORY IS CURRENTLY IN EFFECT.And sometimes this action really does knock out the power, bells, whistles, alarms all going off like we can't tell already. And the wind has made me have to turn up the volume on John B, interviewing whippersnappers, in order to keep following along with his dear deep dulcet tones.
Amazingly, this hasn't blotted out entirely the fires still raging. The three just south of me seem to have dwindled down to one, and maybe this system will knock that one out, but the one down by Yosemite doesn't look to be seeing a cloud from any direction. The fires up in Oregon and Washington and Idaho seem all to be out, but, as usual, California is burning.
