I have endured a few people waxing worshipful over Russ Tice, who is being ignored in the glare of Ed Snowden's blazing acts of vivid illustration. You will recall I linked a couple of important updates on his story right along with the Snowden stuff, and I resisted making a comment about his failure to expose enough to make that risk pay off in the first place. He pulled his punches. He gave them a way out. Hid did not, not, not, not, not start mentioning the names he finally is mentioning now until the Snowden thing broke. This is not Snowden's fault. It is not Glenn Greenwald's fault. It's Russ Tice's fault... and the NSA's fault... and even our fault, but Tice stopped short of revealing enough and oviously Snowden learned from Tice's mistake.
