That our country is making me nostalgic for the clunky old Soviets, but they weren't fascists. They were totalitarian for sure, and funded by our fascists according to some, but the thing that leapt to mind when I heard of another mysteriously-dead young troublemaker, was the wish for the clunkiness of the Soviets. At least people there got the chance to figure out that they'd've been better off fighting when the thugs came to drag them off to the gulag. Nowadays there's no room for even that.
