Old Uncle Dave sent it to me. He thought I'd like it. Actually... actually, I love it... to itty bitty bits. Putin and Merkel stood up for sanity at the G8. I am spraying gratitude to the buddhas of the ten directions just this now, and need to sober up a jot before I add on here about the dream I had the other night. One more cup of coffee....

It was just a snippet, crash landing into a bubble of light out of the dark expanses of sleep, where I was finding myself heartened to be with a group of celebrity friends. I know they were all famous, but I seem only to remember for sure that Heidi Klum was among them, wearing a pair of her always enviably chic hightops and a really comfy-looking sweater. The atmosphere in this bubble was pregnant with solidarity. I was completely welcome. How odd is that? Great relief that I could finally fully express my feelings with people who understood. What? And at their recognition of this feeling in me a question was put. My answer—an ocean of pent agonies, of torture and massacres and mindfucks and dirty dealings and searing psychopathology and starvation and pollution and destruction and mortal ignorance and villainized heroes—gushed forth in a torrent so chaotic and awesome it knocked the celebrities out of the light bubble and I was alone again.

This crystal bit gleaned from a Lebanese source put me in mind of that dream.

I have to parse this, see into it.

I do not approve of THIS kind of video because it doesn't show all the people who told him he was crazy, or hearing his shtick avoided him, or just said no way. It only highlights the people who respond to his tone of voice and the sound bite "support Obama". Yes. That is terrifying. And we need reminding of how many there are out there. But we need worse than anything reminders of the triumph of the human spirit over tyranny. We need more focus on things like Putin and Merkel freezing the psychopaths in their tracks.
