Greenwald was way too mild. Way. Never mind that Maher is about the most execrable piece of crass going on his good days, he is never this gentlemanly even when he's trying to be pleasant, and certainly deserved no quarter whatever. Greenwald could have done a much better job and still not crossed the line, decency-wise.
I have definitely lost my sense of humor with Stewart and Maher and Maddow and their ilk. I will hold Stephen Colbert in my heart forever for his BRILLIANT WORK on Bush at the 2006 Correspondents' Dinner. I would die for him if he'd do it to Cinderella... but I don't suppose he will be given the chance, even if he'd actually do it. But the rest of these fucks don't deserve our eyeballs or our eardrums. They don't deserve paychecks. They're pigs. No. They're worse than that.
