I keep seeing all these space stories: how NASA finally managed a successful test launch; how Russia just sunk the remnants of one of its space freighters that has been operating since the seventies; some nice new home planets only a few thousand light years away; the volunteer drive for people to take a one-way trip to Mars....
I'm thinking, why does it have to be volunteers?
Why couldn't it be our psychopaths?
