Agent BB2 just sent me an image of this amazing thing. I can see it clear as heck now that I found the right diopter cheaters. Jupiter is even closer to the moon right this minute than it was in this image. It's freeeeezing out there and so I'm runnin' around after warm stuff so I can look for more than a couple seconds at a time.

...

Actually, it looks more like this now:

And it's got a couple of huge halos around it. It is a cloudless and fogless night out there. Just gorgeous. But it is so cold that the bright moon is turning the humidity into quintillions of itsy diamonds hanging in the sky.

I have to put on another coat, and some leg warmers and some mittens if I wanna gape some more. I've been warm as toast in here, without all the layers, and without turning the heater on, but something tells me that's going to change soon. It was a darn pleasantly warmish afternoon, but, well, not anymore.

I've been listening to Malcolm again tonight, and I don't know why, but on this wrong kind of MLK Inauguration Day, Malcolm is sounding the very sanest to me now... especially with this sky.

...

Of course, it's very many hours later, but I just figured out that I had the capability of making the image of what was pinned up there in the sky more exact.
I don't think I'm quite exact with Jupiter relative to the moon, but closer.
