You need more Vitamin D than I do, and I need a lot. And I can't tell you how many times I have started to feel really crappy, taken a couple extra D pills and whatever it was goes away.

It occurs to me to remind you how many times we are finding big reason to doubt, or outright reject, the tenets of "modern medicine" out there. There are just so many researchers out there who won't put up with this crap anymore, and they are making good headway. The research on D may be the best-documented of it all, and these people are not quacks. They're researchers from major universities and they're out there yelling their heads off about how important this is.

Don't ignore it.

Our bodies are darn forgiving of all our failures, but I'm here to tell you, when you run out of D, it is seriously, seriously, seriously no fun. Your teeth start wobbling. Your legs start wobbling and cramping. Muscle spasms all over. Brain fog. You're too out of it most days to take care of yourself at all.

And it isn't just making sure you're not deficient. Optimizing your blood levels of D protects you from all sorts of unhappy ailments. Cancer not the least of these.

Nobody is getting enough sunlight nowadays, even in the summer, to keep healthy. D is a serious part of our immune response. And if you're black in the northern hemisphere, you need to make sure you are nuking yourself with it. Dark people need about six times more sun to get the same amount of D from it as pale people.

They are trying to kill us. Even what is known as "health food" out there isn't healthy. It gets worse by the day. All of us, each of us, needs to pay more attention to the alternatives.

Try to remind yourself every day that the only place you're going to get life enhancing information is from alternative research. Mainstream, with few exceptions, is not your best choice anymore. At least check up on your doctor's advice. Don't take it as gospel. They have been dumbed down, and there is intense peer pressure to make them stay dumbed down. I can't remember a time when I even heard of a doctor giving the best advice. It's down to each of us to save ourselves from them.
