I start thinking about him and start missing him. I've been trying to keep a PLAYLIST on him happening for years, and it's starting to seem as though at least the one piece will stay up, but still I feel I need to add to it whenever I find a new incarnation somewhere.
I have all the books of Gabriel Garcia Marquez, all the books of Dashiell Hammett, all the books of Jonathan Cott, all the books of Thomas F. Cleary. I whittled it down to those. I used to have walls of books. They spent so much time in storage, costing me many times what I paid for them, and then really only serving to impress the living snot out of people who came to visit me once they would finally be back with me, that I got tough and sold the vast majority of them for pennies on all my dollars. I never had all the books of Philip K. Dick.
I should have all his books... to stop missing him.
