Since the advent of the internet... since I have gotten the chance to be online... I have come to understand that my very best way of concentrating on someone's stuff is to hear them. Doubly so, if I can be doodling or playing mahjongg solitaire while listening. Somehow having my hands busy while listening works the very best. Maybe the activation of the motor cortex while listening is the ticket, and that's much harder to do while reading. Something.
Anyway, I heavily approve of Rupert's general thrust here. I don't like him so much when he's talking about spirituality. I think he's too into the left hemisphere for that... or something... but when he's sticking to his field, he's hard to beat.
