She's done it again. I don't care if they've ruined 007. Adele has delivered a theme song so transcendental it will give you goosebumps. Her voice is from some galaxy I'm going to call heaven. I'm thinking and thinking and thinking and thinking, and I just cannot come up with a woman's voice that ever came close.
I'm sorry. She leaves Aretha in the dust, and I think Aretha is almost God. I don't even particularly go for women's voices, usually, always preferring men's voices... transcendental tenors... but I am more approving of this woman and her talent than I can find words for.
I remember getting this crazy for a Pavarotti concert twenty-five or thirty years ago. That's it! Adele has to go down in history already. She's a baby! She's only twenty-four. I don't care. She has eclipsed every pop singer I ever heard already.
