all owls are agoraphobic

Sheesh. I saw this all over the place yesterday, and declined to smack anyone over it, but it pops up first thing again today, and, well, you won't find a real owl out in the daytime. Stealth is their middle name. They come out of their silent observances and slumbers after sunset, well after sunset. If you see one in the day, it's captive, or something's wrong... maybe extreme hunger... or you are working really hard to find one.

No self-respecting owl goes flapping about in the open in daylight.

What's wrong with everybody?
