I love the symbolism of this image. I love that somewhere salmon and bears are flourishing. I try not to think of the stupidity of ruining our salmon population here, with dams and over-fishing and pollution and logging. If there were one thing on this planet that indicated we belong here it would be salmon. What is healthier to consume than salmon? And the older you get, the better it is for you. Nature has it rigged so that we could have had enough salmon for everyone, bears and birds included, for the rest of time. It's almost as though they target for decimation what really is ours to protect.
